What Faith Has Taught Me About Business

What Faith Has Taught Me About Business

When people talk about running a business, they usually focus on sales, growth, and success.

And while those things matter, I've learned that business is really about trust.

Trusting the process.

Trusting the timing.

And most importantly, trusting God.

There have been seasons when business felt easy and exciting. New customers were coming in, sales were growing, and everything seemed to be falling into place.

There have also been seasons when I questioned every decision I made.

If you're a small business owner, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about.

The truth is, entrepreneurship requires a tremendous amount of faith.

Not just faith that things will work out, but faith that God is working even when we can't see the full picture.

I've learned that some of my greatest blessings came disguised as setbacks.

Some doors closed because they weren't meant for me.

Some opportunities didn't work out because something better was ahead.

And some of the hardest seasons taught me lessons I couldn't have learned any other way.

Twisted Herd Mercantile has never been just about selling clothing.

It's about serving people.

It's about creating a welcoming place where women feel seen, valued, and confident.

It's about using the gifts God has given me and trusting Him with the outcome.

I don't have all the answers, and I certainly don't have everything figured out.

But I do know this:

God has been faithful through every season.

And that's a foundation worth building on.

With Love, Heather
